My favorite of the Samurai would be Kambei, because he is the first of the samurai to accept the terms of the farmers. He is the oldest of the group and the leader. He would make a great samurai according to the Bushido because, unlike most samurai, he is selfless, willing to sacrifice his life for people lower than him, class-wise speaking.
